Privacy & Document Handling
Last updated September 17, 2026
This notice explains how Write & Done handles information from website visitors, inquiries, and service requests. Our current website accepts inquiries through Formspree. Document uploads are not enabled. Listed fixed-price packages link to Stripe checkout.
Information you choose to share
Our inquiry form asks for your name, email address, service choice, and project description. The career questionnaire also accepts your goals, work and education history, skills, existing copy, preferences, and an optional order reference. Supply only information needed for your request.
If we accept a project, we may also need agreed source material, instructions, drafts, correspondence, and order or transaction records. We use these to answer you, assess whether we can accept the work, agree on a scope, deliver the service, manage revisions or refunds, and maintain necessary business records.
Do not put card numbers, bank details, passwords, Social Security numbers, government identification, medical records, sealed records, or other sensitive personal data in either form. Do not include confidential case files or private details about other people.
Where information goes
- Formspree processes submitted form contents and sends notifications to our business email. Submissions may also be stored in its service. Formspree privacy policy.
- Google/Gmail handles our business email, including inquiry notifications and replies. Google privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts the online site and provides delivery and security services. Requests to the hosted site may involve technical data such as IP address, browser details, and request logs. Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Stripe processes payments made through our separately shared Stripe checkout links. The website links its fixed-price service packages to Stripe checkout. If you pay through Stripe, we can receive order and payment-status information; do not send payment credentials through our forms. Stripe privacy policy.
These providers handle information under their own applicable terms and privacy notices and may process it in the United States or other countries. This notice does not replace those notices.
We use customer information to support the requested service, not to sell customer lists or run targeted advertising. We may disclose necessary information to comply with law or lawful requests, address fraud or security issues, or resolve payment and service disputes. We do not publish your material as a sample or testimonial without separate permission.
Document handling
Start with a short, non-sensitive description. Document uploads are not available. Before sending files, wait for us to confirm that the project is accepted and agree on a suitable transfer method. Do not send originals, irreplaceable documents, login credentials, or unredacted sensitive records.
Send only relevant pages and remove unnecessary personal identifiers. You must have permission to share the material, including information about other people. Keep your own originals and a backup of every final deliverable.
Our document work is not a confidential legal consultation and does not create attorney-client privilege. Ordinary website forms and email are not appropriate for highly sensitive records. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Any additional sharing or tool use needed for a project will be addressed before the material is transferred. Contact us before sending information with special confidentiality, contractual, or regulatory requirements.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep inquiry and project information only as needed to respond, perform agreed services, handle revisions or disputes, and meet necessary recordkeeping obligations. Payment, tax, and order records may need to be retained after project working files are removed.
You may request deletion of information we control. We will explain if something must be retained and why. Deletion from active records does not necessarily remove provider backups immediately; providers may retain information under their own policies or legal duties. We are not a long-term document storage service.
Your choices and privacy requests
Use our contact form and choose “Privacy or document deletion request” to ask about access, correction, a copy of your information, or deletion. You may also reply to an existing project email. Include the email used for your inquiry or order, but do not attach identity documents. We may need to verify your request before sharing or deleting records.
Depending on applicable law, you may have additional privacy rights. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any limits or exceptions. An inquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.
Adults and policy changes
Services are intended for adult customers aged 18 or older. Do not submit information about children through these forms. If you believe a child has sent personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.
We will update this page when our handling practices change and revise the date above. Material changes affecting an existing project will be communicated as required; we will seek any consent required by law.
